A to B

    When we first started this project, we learned that when we record we don't need to have the main focus of the video completely out of the frame to switch to the next view. My group members were really good with the camera and maintaining focus on me (in the green hoodie) and Roman did great since he had to do most of the camera work by himself. Premier Pro CC was a great program to use since it is very easy to learn and is able to make big changes to the video, which I really liked to use for my editing. We starting out by planning where we would start, which we decided would be in the studio, and we wanted to have multiple people in frame because it would give the illusion that this actually happened and we didn't just fake it, even though we did. My team was very great to work with and I had a lot of fun recording this, I would definitely work with them again.

How to Print a Document

We worked a lot on this video, trying to figure out what we would do to make everything as perfect as possible. One of our ideas was to make it seem like when I walked someplace it didn't just look like two different scenes, but that it is the same part just with another view. Every idea we came up with was together, if one person had their own idea we would talk it through and if it was good then we would apply it to our video, if not then we scrapped it. We used iPads to record the video clips, and then we used Premiere Pro CC 2017 to make edits and cut our clips together. We had a lot of communication to make sure what we were doing was going to look good and that we could do it well, I did take some leadership when we were working since I tried to manage our time well and make our scenes great, but I wasn't the only one to take charge, we all worked together to be sure everything was in place and so we have a good view of what we were recording, we all did the best we could with time management and making sure we did the project well and that we could get it in in time. I wouldn't really change anything, this is because we all did so well and I used most of the time making sure I didn't want to make changes. I would want to continue with the views that we had since they were in a good spot and we could always tell who the main focus of the video was. I will hopefully know how to work on our editing software better on our next project, and so hopefully I can make it clips and transitions much better. I had so much fun making this video and I would say that I would do it again.

Jobs on Career Cruising

     We did Career Cruising about 2 weeks ago. I got a lot of jobs that I think relate to E-Comm and that I really like. The 5 that I picked out were Video Game Developer, Computer Animator, Web Developer, Animator, and Website Designer. I chose these jobs because I feel that they relate a lot to E-Comm and they are jobs that I would like and that I would enjoy having.

     Of all the Jobs on there, my favorite would have to be Video Game Developer. I would love to be a video game developer because having E-Comm will teach me the skills to animate and do more designs on the game. This job would be a lot of fun since I would be able to work with a ton of different people and be able to get help from others.

     Even though video game developers don't make much money at first, they can make up to $120,000 a year, which I would love. To get into this career track, you need to get about 2-4 years of college. I really like game development and I think it would be a great career for my future.

     Even though I may not learn much about programming in E-Comm, I will learn graphic design and that skill will help me to be able to make the visuals for the games, and I can go into an outside of school class for programming.

SketchUp House

We have been working on a 3D house in Google SketchUp. The house we are working on is supposed to be from a website (this website was Contemporary Style House Plan - 1 Beds 1.00 Baths 399 Sq/Ft Plan #917-6 if you want to check it out) The house we were supposed to make was a small house that didn't have a flat roof. 

These were the two textures that I used as sides on the windows, and for the sliding door curtains. The wooden texture is seamless and it is what I used for the window siding, it was very hard to find, but when I saw it I thought it looked amazing. The green texture that I used was easier to find but it was the only green I could find, I still like its design and I think it looks good on my house. I had a hard time doing this but it was still fun.

Ball Bounce w/ surprise ending

In E-Comm we worked on a frame by frame animation in Photoshop where we made a ball bounce in from the side, and have it end in a way someone wouldn't expect. I had a fun time making this animation and seeing what I could do with a ball. Even though I didn't have a lot of time to make this animation I still did the best that I could do, and it turned out pretty well.

Why I Chose My Ten Words

We did this project to show ten words that represent us in only a few words and then to make it creative, and unique. We started out by writing words that relate to us and then we would put them on the computer. We started by putting our words into Photoshop, then we used the tools given to us to animate them and make it look good. Here is why I chose my ten words

Artistic- I really enjoy art and I am good at drawing (if I have an image to go off of)

Crazy- I am very weird and do a lot of dumb things

Creative- I have tons of ideas and I can do something brand new

Determined- I am set on doing something and doing it right

Friendly- I am a nice and welcoming person

Funny- I love to make jokes and mess around, and usually people laugh

Hyperactive- I am way over the top with my energy and let it out in large bursts

Impatient- I am not very good at waiting to do something or get something done

Kind- I do my best with being kind to others

Spooper- I just used this as a funny way to say super, because I am spooper cool

This was a fun project and I enjoyed the whole process, especially the animation.
I did want to make my animation more animated, because all I could do is make them move in slowly when I wanted to make the words turn more and move them around rather than them just being normal and only sliding, but some over them were able to turn more. Other than that, I did like what I was a ble to do.
